New guy from Illinois
Greetings everyone. My dad got me into the hobby when I was just a little kid maybe 5 or 6 years old. I always thought cars were cool and tried to sneak away with him and his friends to go to car shows. I came here hoping to find some information about a project that I plan to start before the end of the year. After I finish this 80 Impala, I want to start my 41 Plymouth that my dad bought back when I was a baby. We always talked about how that would be my first car but it kept getting put on the back burner. Now after years of sitting I would like this car to be on the streets. My dad took the front part of a Nova frame and welded it to the Plymouth so we could run a small block Chevy, power steering, and disc brakes. He did the same thing in the rear of the frame so I have the 10 bolt rear end in the car too. If anyone has any experience with this type of custom work I would love to hear any ideas or information on where to get parts or what I might need to get this car on the road sooner rather than later!

JKFlash first welcome to CHR you'll find plenty of similar swaps on here. the only thing I see as a problem is making new body mounts. That is somthing you'll have to work out as you have the car. Good luck and POST some pictures then maybe we can help
