Greeting from Camano Island, Wa.
Just signed on and thought I would share a little about my background. I am a semi retired telcom exec now living the dream of building hot rods out of my shop on Camano Island. I built my first hot rod (a 40 Ford Coupe Delux) in the mid sixties. I was out of hot rodding (owned a few Corvettes and other muscle cars) while building a career and raising a family. I got back into street rodding in the mid 90's when I purchased and built a Total Perfomance T-Bucket. My next project was a Rat's Glass 3 window coupe on a TCI chassis with a SBC stroker motor and a 700R4 trans on polished AMR TT II's. I am currently building a very unique all steel 27 Lakes modified roadster with a 36" pickup bed, 32 Ford grill with a louvered hood. As this will be a driver, I installed a 350/350 combo with 9" rear-end. I just finished the paint (Dove gray) and I'm in the final assembly process. I spent the last two days making the SS brakelines leak proof... a nearly impossible task! I now have brakes!! I look forward to taking an active role in the numerous forums.Last edited by dwfunk32; 03-11-2011 at 06:44 PM. Reason: re-size attached photos
