Hello from 52chevyred
Merry Christmas! I just found this site when Brent sent me an e-mail from Club Cobra. I have been working on a '66 Cobra (Street Beasts: yeah, I KNOW all about them) that is about 3 weeks away from the paint shop.
I just bought a '51 Ford truck, with the original flathead V-8. That is why I joined this group. I had a '52 Chevy 2 door "fastback", that was going to be my "Dale Earnhardt Memorial car", but I sold it to a guy that had a 15 year old son that wanted to get into "old cars".
At that time, I had a '49 Chevy 2 door with a 350, '46 Ford 2 door and a '31 Ford roadster (body). I had a stray cat take up at my shop and he loved to lay on my '52 Chevy, so I named him Chevy.
I enjoy old cars, fast cars and anything between. I am "NASCAR certified" to 153 mph: did Petty three times in Atlanta, twice at Daytona and Bristol at night twice, with Buck Baker. I have a "need for speed".:)
