The goat looks really good, and I am very glad to hear Woodward is still alive and well. Gotta get back there some day, last time I was there was in the mid 70's and there was some wicked players around then.
Hey pro z and goat, time is not even an issue when your are building yer own. I have a '72 Ford pick up I just started on 11 years ago, a '57 Ford wagon I just bought in 1973 might be my next project to start on. Half the fun is in the building way I see it, and when you're done it's totally unique and all yours.
But one final thought. Is it just me, or do you guys have these wonderful, intelligent friends who come around and make fantastic suggestions, then leave when it's time for the work to start?? Mine also come back about a week later and ask why you aren't done with that yet !!!!
Building rods and street machines is great fun, I would not trade the experience for anything !!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
Carroll Shelby
Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
