hello from down under!
hello guys and girls.
i have posted on here once or twice since joining but thought id introduce myself properly anyway.
been in a hot rodding family my whole life but recently purchased my first project- a 48 ford tudor for a good price from my boss!
entire car will need to be done although it had a start on it 20 years ago but will need to be changed anyway. id prefere this anyway cos it means i can build it my way.
It has a dropped tube axle in the front but i want independant so he was happy to keep the front end and threw me a complete jag to raid the front and rear from instead! :D
im thinking on a big block - ford of course- but we'll see how the finances go! same applies to the airbags id like to put under it!
im doing my homework now so i can plan as much as i can ahead of time.
ill be doing most of the work myself- only thing i may not do is trim the seats. ive got the sewing machine but im not that good yet!
anyway ill keep you all up to date.
