Youngsta, Doin' it Old School!
Name's Joshua Howard of Sacramento, CA. I've always had a longing to drive the REAL kings of the road and I came across some of the biggest ones, my 1965 Chevy C-10 Limited SBSS truck and my 1972 'Maro RS/Z28. They have both had engine swaps. The race engine I built for the camaro (350 4 bolt) was swaped for a 454 and the 350 was re bored *.030* **soon .060** and then placed in the Truck. At this moment in time the 'Maro is no longer street legal (That's when you know you've succeded) and so all attention is going towards the Truck. It's nice to find an active classic site like this, I shall call this "HOME"That rumbling sound?... It's having bad digestion, ate too much RICE! MmmMMmm.

Welcome Joshua! I am right up the road from you in Marysville. Sounds like you have a couple cool rides in your stable. It is indeed great to see a youngsta running something with rear wheel drive! Keep up the good work! You got some pictures of your stuff you can post?
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

That's a nice straight looking truck you have. The project should keep you busy for a while too.

My grandfather has a 67' Gmc 4X4 that has a 74' Blazer 350 in it that has been sittin for 16 years. It ran 16 years ago when parked, the only reason it was never run again is that the Bell Housing needed changed cause the housing used on the 305 V6 was diffrent than the 350 one so he got the one that would fit the 350 but never got time to put it on and it was eventully forgoton but, I hope to find time to fix it sometime this or next year. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
