Hello from FLORIDA
Hello peoples,
my name is Kale, i live near orlando FL, i am a car freak, if you look through my forums i am shortening my 79 malibu wagon by about two and 1/2 feet, Any help or advice (besides buying a two door wagon) would be appreciated. my dad has been a mechanic in the army for about 20 years, recently retired, He is working on my brothers car right now, a 1940 Chevy Master Deluxe, its got frenched headlights and 2" widened rear fenders to fit some giant meats under it, anyways, this seems like a really cool site and i've already got a few replies to some of the threads i've put up also i am looking for a decent 350 & up chevy motor for a future project car, if any in FL near orlando can help with this thanks, cars i've had, im 19 by the way

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
