Like most of you i'm a life long gear head and i've built a few street machines, trucks (domestic and import) a couple dune buggies and jeeps. I've been married for 42 years, have two kids and 5 grandkids. I did a couple of years in the Army (Artillery. Schweinfurt,Germany, '69-'71).

My current project is a '56 Chevy more door ex-Air Force car. Stock 235 and 3 speed. I'm building it as a cruiser and grandkid hauler. Plans are gray primer, candy blue and gold 'flake top, and blue and white tuck n' roll. So far i've welded in new floor pans, rebuilt the front end, the entire brake system (still need to install the '68 Chevelle master cylinder), installed a new gas tank and sending unit, added a Fenton header, Langdon's Holley/Weber carb, dual glass packs with pencil tips, Supremes with pinner whites and a Hurst shifter. I still have to install the Langdon's HEI and a ton of other parts.

The T-Buck is an older build (built in '71) that's a little worn around the edges with way more chrome than i really wanted. It has a stock 327 with a built powerglide, Corvette rear end, tunnel ram with an 800 cfm Holley, Mr. Gasket's bug catcher, spun aluminum gas tank, Centerlines (15x5's and 15x12's) big ole MT Sportsmans, and vertical steering with a T steering wheel. Right now i'm just driving it before the weather turns really bad (in this part of Cal we really do have winters with rain, fog and cold sunless days). Plans call for a rebuild next winter. So far i'm planning on powder coating the frame black, painting the engine orange (still not sure why they painted the engine black. 327's should be Chevy orange), replacing the Centerlines with chrome rims (15x6's & 15x10's), replacing the gas tank with a fuel cell and building some type of pickup bed and replacing the chrome headlights, headlight stands and grill shell with painted ones. I'm still not sure on the color. It'll either be flat black (not a rat rod i just like the primer look) with red interior or Hugger orange with black interior, chop the steering column down a couple of inches and change the steering wheel. So far i've changed out the tunnel ram and bug catcher for a Weiand manifold with a 600 cfm Edelbrock Performer carb, small chrome breather, new tires (M/T Sportsman 29x15.50-15's & BFG P195/65R15's), added turn signals, new mirrors and made some tail lights.
