Next Noob
Hi guys. I'm starting a project to build a cruiser pickup with a twist and a transplant. The vehicle is a butt-fugly 67 & 68 International crew cab. The twist is that I am making up the crew cab by joining a pickup cab with a Travelall (aka grand-daddy of the suburban) cab. The transplant is I want to do a total chassis swap and put the body metal onto a 99% bone stock late model GM or Dodge chassis. So right off the bat I have at least a vertical section job ahead. After that there may be a nose section too. After that if I haven't given up there may be a roof chop too. The dream look is the pic in my sig line.
Have been lurking around the site and reading reading reading. Lots of great stuff on this site and I am looking forward to learning and sharing my ups and downs of the build with you all. **)
I'm 51 (today), don't know anybody who gave or got bailout money, been married to the same great woman for 22 years, have 3 great kids. Living in both Vista, CA and Portland, OR. The build will be done in Vista.

Heh, heh if I can figure out how to get the signature to work then the project body work should be a breeze!
