Another newby from FL
Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Jon and I'm 20 years old from Tampa, FL and a hotrod fanatic. No hot rods yet, but hopefully picking up a '72 Ford Mustang at the end of the month, so I'll be doing alot of lurking / reading till then. My uncle has a '34 Dodge that I'm hoping to help but some wrench time into once he wants to get it back up and running.

Welcome
Hey man, Welcome to the forum. I wish you luck with the 72 mustang (71-73 are some of my favorites) I am 37 but have been into hot rods and muscle cars since I was Knee high to a tool box (thanks to my dad) so I admire you getting into them. Take care. What is the mustang like? Don JrDon Jr.

I've only checked out what I could see by doing a walk around. Doesn't seem like it has too much rust (seen some by the top windshield area and a few spots new the rear fenders). Can tell it was red and painted over black. Interior looks like it is all there but the dash has a big crack in the center. Overall it doesn't look like it's in that bad of condition but I'm sure I'll find more if I get and start to strip it down.

Jon, welcome aboard, you're going to have a great time here, lots of friendly, knowledgeable guys willing to help. As you can see, I'm also in Lutz and haven't been here very long but have learned an awful lot already. Hope you get the Mustang, good luck. BTW, I did go to the NSRA Nats at the fairgrounds this weekend, all 3 days, it was hot and humid!!!

Welcome to CHR. Great to have some young people into the classics and hot rods. Are you looking to get a fastback or sedan? I had a 68 when I was your age, mom had a 69!
Lots of Bullet fans here if you sway to the fastback side!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Sounds good, runs good, and it has a 351c. Now just have to talk numbers.
It's a coupe (non fastback) stovens.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
