Hi all, been building hot rods for a little over 50 years (yep still a young-un at it). The OFT stands for old funky truck. That is the CB handle some truck drivers gave me back in the early 70's for my 1929 AA Ford (has a blown BBC-396 cu"). Use it to haul my 37' 5th wheel RV. All 14,000 lbs. If I ever fiqure out how to upload pic's I will do so. This was my daily driver for 27 years until gas started going up. Drive it 2-3 times a week to work now.

New project is a rusted out '27 Ford roadster. Made a made dash 19 hour round trip to KS and back home (16 hour drive). Seems like no one likes to go on my trips-something about not stopping except for gas. Nope, no food execpt the mini-wheats and diet coke. I know-brutal trips. This last one the dog even did not want to get back in the P/U towards the last two stops.

I have built many hot rods over the years and I will not bore everyone other than to say Model A P/U's are the best. I have owned 7-8 over the years.

I enjoy the building phase the most.

Take care and if you see a bright yellow AA dually on the road- grab your CB and give the OFT a holler-ya hear

Earl
