Hello people!
Hello everone,im her for some help i have a 1988 astrovan i plan on installing a 350 sbc.
I'm now in the stages of finding one to rebiuld or buy ready to go.
Ive never tried rebuilding myself an engine before so ill probably need loads of help lol.
My last ride was a 1981 camaro that i dropped a 454 bb into, that was quite fun!!Had my second child soooo. now ive got this van here and i'd love to put a bbc into it but this is gonna be my everyday drive , besides traction will be an issue with the 350 let alone a bbc. I look forward to talking to all of you and tia for all help i may recieve!:3dSMILE:

Welcome to CHR, Astro. Sounds like you have an interesting project ahead. Why bother building a motor so soon??? You have a lot of chassis building and suspension work ahead of you before it's ready for a motor. Have fun, post some pics.

From what i understand a sbc will drop right in with some new mounts from racecraft or jtr.Gonna use the 700r4 tranny thats in it now(already rebuilt)Will wait and see how the rearend holds up!there are some good posi units available for these rears as well.
