Newb from Edmonton, Alberta
Hey party people, how's it going?
I'm Steve. I'm in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Probably my favorite car of all time would be a 32 Ford 5-window, but unfortunately right now it looks like the car will be 100 years old before I can afford to get close to one, so for now I've got an 83 Mustang GT in the garage.

Best 1/4 Mile: 14.884@94.07mph (altitude: 2200' - Castrol Raceway, Edmonton)... nothing crazy, but considering it's still the original engine and only put out 175 bhp when new.... hey...
Best 60-foot: 2.148
Now, it's sad to say, but even after 7 years of owning the car, I had an idea of what I wanted to do with it, but didn't have REAL DIRECTION for the project - I've been calling it "Project Fox Rod" for over a year now, and wanted to give it more of a hot rod style (for as much as you can "hot rod" a Fox Mustang) because I'm tired of seeing the usual 79-93 look on the roads and at shows....... that was until the June issue of Hot Rod Magazine came out and good old Steve Stanford's "Gasser" sketch nailed it down - sure his render was a blue hard-top notch and I've got a red/black T-topped hatch, but that's where the scanner and being a Photoshop junkie came in. I really respect Steve's sketches, so from one Steve to another, I hope I did his work proud:

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
