Hello Everybody
Just another new guy signing in. I am building a family heirloom in my eyes. A 1947 Ford pickup that was purchased by my great grandfather in California in the early 60's.A farm truck for my grandfather and mine since the 70's. I have kept it my whole life. I have been working on it in a pro's shop for 2 1/2 years now. One Friday at a time. I am so mad at myself. My dad never got a ride in it. If I had only worked harder.:( :(

hotrodtrux, Welcome to CHR. Sounds like a nice project. Wouldn't mine having a hotrod truck but my wife would want me to use it for hauling plants and dirt. So no truck for me right now.  Post some photos of your project when you get a chance. We oldsters like looking more than reading.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, you can bet your Dad is right there sitting in the shotgun seat, he and your Grandpa are probably fighting over who gets the window. :D Nice to see a car with a family history like yours.
