Welcome heatwave 31 Tudor here allways glad to see another build and ideas .
Welcome to the forum. Yep, we'd love to see some pictures, we especially like in progress shots. Smart way to go, old timey looks and modern, dependable drivetrain.

Any ideas about firewalls? The bbc Brookville doesn't give me as much room as the Bitchin but the Bitchin floor and firewall do not seal well together.Quote:

There is alot of guys here with more experience in prefab stuff then me this is my first rod build also .
Hi Heatwave & welcome. I'm building a 30 Brookville roadster with a BBC. I totally removed the Bville firewall and went with a Bitchin firewall (more clearance) and their floor. I experienced no problems with "sealing" issues & in fact could not have fit any better providing me was an almost flat floor. I'm curious as to WHY and where you had sealing problems? It seems like everything requires fabrication and massaging to work correctly...make me often times think I'm trying to reinvent the wheel. Hopefully I'll be on the road in 2 or 3 more months depending on my 2 different painters schedules. Hope you will post pics for all us fellow members to enjoy and you will find tons of help and advice freely given here. :)

Ain't it the truth !!!!
Welcome heatwave! You have come to the right place.:whacked: :D
OK, how 'bout more info? Is it full-fendered or fenderless? Channeled or hiboy style? Model-A frame or something else?:rolleyes
On my coupe I reversed the stock firewall and then filled the center of it with flat 18 gauge steel. That gave me room for my small block with long water pump; should have room for a big block with short pump. I also fab'd my own floor & tunnel from 18 gauge. There are pics of it all in my gallery...:)
welcome....
Welcome fellow Buckeye.
