Hello, I just joined. I have a 1948 Ford F-3 truck with a 226 ci flathead inline six. Bought it in 1999. Always interested in learning about new sites and vendors for quality parts. I live in North Carolina.

Welcome to CHR. Plenty of old truck guys here (old trucks and old guys). I don't have one, but my father in law has two, so I get to play with his 48 Ford and his 34 Ford whenever I get the chance.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Yeah I love my truck. My dad and I are still in process of restoring it. It is a slow process. Its quite hard to find good parts for the F-3. F-1 parts are readily available but not many are for the F-3.
Devils Tower - been there, Sturgis, yep, been there.... Met a guy from Chile driving a VW Amarok? That's a once in a lifetime encounter I'd think.
