Hello from California
I'm a 56 year old car dude with a passion for classics. Been into cars since I was 12. Bought my first car at 15. 1954 Buick Super for $50. Had tri-year chevys until I got married the first time. Left the car scene but got into Hot Rods in 1999. Built a 32' Ford 3 Window (sold), 65' Bscayne with a 454 and 6 speed (sold), bought a 31' Model A and a 51' Ford Gasser.

Hey Gasser, glad to see you made the trip over here. I know Gasser from another forum or two and he is always one of those guys who will go out of their way to help someone. Likewise, I know you will enjoy knowing the people on CHR too.
Oh, you know the rules............PICTURES !! lol

I live in Petaluma, not too far from you or Hot August Nights. I doubt my truck will make it there this fall(it has a long way to go, but I will try to be there, and maybe my neighbor will drive his stock 67 vette! Anyhow welcome aboard! Steve."

Hey man, I'm in Santa Monica.....not that far away. Just curious of you know of affordable media blasting in our neck of the woods? I have a quote from Hot Rods and Custom Stuff but they are in Escondido which isn't very close to me.

Check with the crew at Hot Rods and Hobbies in Signal Hill or Starlight Garage in Torrance. Gardena also has West Wild Customs. They probably know someone or can do it themselves. Bunch of guys meet every Friday night at "Ricky and Ronnies" in Torrance for dinner. Bob Barnes from "Verns Chrome Plating" often times shows up. He knows everybody. We also meet for coffee, every Saturday morning at Hawthorne and Artesia in Torrance, 7 am. Bob shows up there too.
