G'day from down under
**) G'day,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking around the site for a while now enjoying the build threads and all the excellent content available here. I must say its one of the best sites I have come across.
I have built a number of cars (never a rod) when I was younger, mainly ozzie classics and a also a chevy powered datsun 260z
I just bought a 61 Chrysler Newport 2dr hardtop and plan on mildly rodding it. Custom suspension, crate hemi (not sure yet of HP), new drive line etc.
The plan is to do the build over the next 2-3 years; I work a 28day x 28day rotation over seas so I should have more than enough time, depending on the chores dished out by the wife . As this is my first foray into rodding you can expect lots of dumb questions from me in the future.
Cheers,
Lyndsay
