Young newbie from northern Ky
names jonathan have had a love for cars since i was a kid, grew up in a shop pushing brooms around and just loved to get dirty. 28 years later still loveing to do the same thing. my now the family shop is long gone and all i have is a 2 bay behind the house. not neally equipped as what is should be but it will take time.
i have a 46 chevy style master 2 door sitting on an 80's s10 frame. started doing a little work to that. then acquired a 65 ford galaxie 4 door. was just going to make a cruiser outta it. paid one hundred bucks for. had a 352 fe with an automatic and a 9inch in the rear. well the frame was shot so i stripped it. cut everything apart and laid it behind the house in the alley and the junk man got it. boy that was a sight at some times. picture a the galaxy with no front end, no rear quarters and no doors. we pulled it outta the garage and had it laying everywhich way put flat, had it on its passenger side doors, driveside doors, etc. etc. the next junk man came and tried his hardest to get it. he even had a tommy gate on the back of his truck. no luck he left with me standin up against the wall holding this thing. said hed be back no avail. well here comes the next junkman threw a microwave on the ground lifted the galaxy up and drove under it.
the 46 got pushed on the back burner. because after the galaxy i bought a 66 ford 352 fe, 4spd bull dog man i loved the truck but hated driving it. couple months later i traded for a 47 chevy fleetline 4 door. man its not perfect but its been in a barn since the 70's last time the car was tagged was in 1964. so it didnt see that much of the road. and you can tell by the frame, floor and etc. motor was just a straight six. wasnt all there.
i plan on putting a stock bore small block in it and driving the hell outta it like its meant to be. will have a turbo 350 with a trans am rear end.
after its together i willstart back on the 46.
