Back in the game.
Hi everyone.
My name is Pete. Was web surfing and found this forum. After reading a few posts I just had to join. At the first outing to the local hamburger joint I put this note on my windshield. I think it says it all.
1932 CHEVROLET
5 WINDOW COUPE
This car was built up around 1978. I picked up my wife in this on our first date back in 1983 and we got married shortly after. In 1987, it was parked in the garage and just sat there through the years on flat tires. After twenty three years of a wonderful marriage, my wife passed away three months ago. This little hot rod has so many happy memories to it that I am starting to fix it up again.
I uploaded a few pictures in the member galleries.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. So very sorry to hear about your loss. There aren't any words anyone can say, however I can tell you from experience, time does help heal all wounds. I wish you well in that process.
As for your little "deuce" coupe, nice to see one from another maker done so well. I went to your gallery and loved what I saw, looks like a sweet hot rod all the way around. Glad to see you have renewed interest in getting it back on the road again, especially with the history and memories it holds. Drive the wheels off of it !!! :D :D
You joined a good forum here. It is populated by members who are truly nice people, willing to do whatever to help a fellow rodder out. Hope we hear a lot from you.

Pete,
So sorry for your grief, but your story is a treasure that cannot be taken away, nor can the memories tied to your sweet '32. I am a newbie to the forums, too, and I will look forward to reading more about your renewed work with the car. Enjoy your time here.
