    new guy from So.CAL

     



    Hey just wanted to drop by and say hi.
    My name is Tim, Im from So.CAL in the LA/OC area. Im soon to be 27. Ive been around cars my whole life, antiques since i was born, customs and hotrods since i was about 14.
    I have a few projects going on. One is a 1956 F-100 big window, Mustang II front suspension, 9inch in the rear held in with a 4-link set up.. powered by a small block ford... whenever i mount it that is.. I also have a 55 f-100 that i sadly need to part with soon... it was clipped by california conversions out in hemet a few years ago... chevelle clip, power disc brakes, power steering, 4.6L Mod engine with an Aod-E trans.
    Last project isnt a hotrod, or anything yet is my d/d weekend car a 1990 gt mustang... need to finish my 56 before i can touch this thing.
    I have been/was working with an Exotic Car Transport company, so ive delt with alot of the big hotrod builders. I just wish i had the money.. lol
    Thats all i can think of for now, so just thought id say hello.

    Tim, Welcome to CHR! Every body has to start someplace, sounds like you have a good project in the 56. Keep us posted with pics, pix are always a favorite here. Hot rods don't need to be expensive to bring joy, check out some of the hot rods being built here. They come in all styles and all price ranges. As long as you enjoy 'em that's want matters most.

    thanks for the welcomes...
    i got alot of pics today of the 55 i need to get rid of.. lol.. it rolls...
    my 56 is semi together, minus 3rd member and the right axles... once i get it to a roller stage, ill have some good pics of that up.....
    here are a few pics of my 55... the bed on it is for the 56 which is that blue color..

    truck is minus the bed.
    it does come with everything in the pictures, plus doors,grille, crome front bumper, and any other misc items i can find
