Newbie from Scotland
Hello everyone
I've not got a hot rod or anything like that, just a plain standard '79 Olds with a small 260, but my brother told me about this forum and said if I have any problems to ask here as I just tell you lot the symptoms and you usually know what to check and do.
I've spent a few days just reading threads and wow, I'm learning loads already. It's like a kinda car/engine school

Scotland does have lots of cattle, I think.Welcome to the forum. I'm always intrigued
by the many members we have in distant places. It just surprises me how much American iron is out there and the interest in them.
If we can ever help out, just let us know.

Welcome to the forum - there is a lot of good information here and some folks that like to enjoy this site and the back and forth discussion. Whatever you have on your mind, post it and someone will give you facts, an opinion or just 'talk' with you.Dave

Cheers guys
Tex is the name of my car. It's from Texas and came to Britain in 1985. The number plate also begins with TX so thought that was a good name, lol
I'm actually from Norway but I'm studying in Scotland, so I'm hoping to take Tex back to Norway with me in two years time. Then he'll be 30 and the import taxes are much lower.... When (if ever, lol) I'm rich it would be fun to put something big and powerful under the bonnet and have him as a sleeper 'coz he's pretty solid considering he's been in rainy Britain for so many years...

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
