    thank you for the welcome. I put monroe shocks all around. standard in the front and air max in the rear. the car needed attitude. Liked monroe prices and warranty.

    next part of the project is too replace the front seal on the tranny. it is a stock 350. have been offered a th400 just need to change the torque converter. but with the 400 and the 10 bolt rear i would lose about 15 horses. so i decided to just rebuild the 350.

    Welcome and a real nice Monte, one of Chevy's better efforts IMHO. I like the wheels, reminds me of what I had on a '57 Bel Air in the late '60's.

    The wheels came with the car. do not know anything about them other than the center cap on one of them is starting to chip. anyway to repair this?
