Hi all! I'm Juniors66 from Utah. I've been involved with the local street scene for about eighteen years and enjoy my obsession very much. I have a 1966 Chevrolet Impala SS that I cruise and show at the local cruise nights and have showed at various car shows/rod runs in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado over the last thirteen years or so since I got it put back together. Yes it's driven to every event. It it's on a trailer one of two things have occurred:
1. It's been stolen or
2. I blew something up and need to get her home.
I also have a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu coupe that I'm starting next. It's now my daily driver but hopefully that will change next year. I'm dropping a 400 small block out of a '74 Impala I picked up for two bills and with some minor "hop ups" it should be ready for action. I also own a 1987 Monte Carlo SS project car that because of "too many projects too little time" is going down the road. If anyone is interested I'll post an ad in the "For sale" area with more info.
I am a founding member of "Street Heat Car Club." We are a group of close friends out of the Utah County area that got together cruising the local main drag as teenagers and shortly thereafter formed officially in 1994. Our members show and drag race and have turned out some rather interesting projects. Check us out at www.streetheatcarclub.com and see.
Finally about me; I'm 33, single and work as a material handler for a national printing corporation and besides rodding I enjoy music (all kinds), writing, amateur radio(scanning mostly)and travelling. That covers it all, glad to be a part of it all!
Cheers, Juniors66
