Well, an automatic will require a transmission cooler and lines, and of course a shifter. The cooler can either be a stock type in the radiator or an aftermarket transmission cooler that relies on airflow to cool it... A manual requires clutch linkage and shifter linkage. If the car was originally equipped with a standard transmission then it's not a big problem. If the car was originally an automatic transmission car, then you would have to install the pedals and linkage or install the clutch pedal, a master cylinder, line, and slave cylinder to operate it.
