Should have reading
Streets and Techinspector you both made some GREAT posts recently on auto formulas and theory ;) .
For the people out there who are actually into car building a good book to have for reference is: HP Books "Auto Math Handbook" by John Lawlor.
While PC searches and forums can be great for some information, my experience is there is also a lot of incorrect information also passed along. I think if you ask anyone who is either heavily into the hobby or who has made his living working on cars they will tell you one of their most valuable possesions are their reference books.

Hey Streets, I remember the sandwich signs! Reference books are a necessity for me, the old memory just isn't what it used to be. I also use my digital camera for pics of anything that interests me, then file it in the computer for future reference. Much easier than trying to remember where it was I found the information in the first place and trying to locate it again.
