Looks like a terrific car to rod. I have a 34 Plymouth sedan and a friend has a 34 Plymouth 5 window. Building a street rod out of a Mopar is really no different than using a Ford or a Chevy. Some aftermarket parts may not be as readily available as with a Ford, but if you start with a complete car, then that is not going to be a major issue. Putting in a Mopar power train would be sweet. Hemi's are nice (as well as the Viper v-10's ) but the car will move down the road very nicely with a good 318, 360 or 440.

Mopar's make great street rods especially if you have one with all of the original parts. There are places that sell both reproduction and NOS parts for old Mopar's so if you need something chances are you can probably get it. The one you are looking at looks pretty complete so body parts may not be an issue. You can swap out the rear for a modern unit complete with disc brakes, and putting in a Mustang II IFS should not be a big issue. Mopar partially boxed their frames early, but I don't know what year they started. My 34 Plymouth had a factory boxed frame. You can even install a IRS unit from a Corvette if you think that is the kind of ride you would like. Mine has a vette IRS, but at times would prefer a standard rear.
