Hello !!!
First off cool site, Northern california needs more sites like this. Anyway i have always loved any kind of classic car/ muscle car. I am not a chevy guy or a ford guy or mopar i love them all. I just traded my BMW M3 in for a restored 56 Chevy, its gorgeous. My main goal here is to get assistance with fixing this car up to my standards. First goal is to throw a LSI motor. my only problem is i dont know where to start so prepare to see some confused posts on the forums :) any help will be great and feel free to contact me with anything, thanks again !

Welcome to the forum. Mike, ls1s10, is gonna be your guy on here. If he doesn't know it, it hasn't been done.

However, I just heard a rumor he swapped a 283 into his s10.

Go on the thread above yours "Mikes home away from home." He's home right now and taking calls.
Just tell him to look at your thread and offer some suggestions. (He's on some of those good hospital drugs right now, so he probably missed your thread)

Stu Cool also just went through the LS regimin on his Studabaker. Different car, but a lot of the information is the same. He did a really great photo history of the build here on CHR.... The set up looks and runs great, might want to check it out, too.
