Imo,The s-10 get boiled down to just the frame rails ,whether most want to believe it or not,when they start using that frame.I have a buddy that is using one on his 49 ford a s-15 extended cab frame.It looked like a nice complete rollin frame when he started,then you have to cut it down to fit the wheel base,then the leafs come outa the back and triangulated 3 link gets installed,there goes the rear suspention 9 inch ford rear ,there goes the rear endNew rims and tires ,there goes more!!! Then up front,the coils are the wrong tention,need air bags,there goes more parts In the end 2 frame rails and a pair of a arms ,steering box and associated steering linkage.IMO not much left there and lots of work. The main attraction of the s-10 frame is that a non running ,ruff looking body s-10 is usually next to nothing or free.Like most things lots of time to invest ,but little money...=s
