Howdy!
New to the forum and just checkin in.
I'm currently building a 1946 Ford Super Deluxe coupe that I started with my dad. It's got a polished Heidts front end, custom 4 link rear with 8" Ford, brand new Flathead V8 with dual carbs, and a Flat-O-Matic in it. The engine and chassis are done, but the body is still ongoing.
So far I've welded the fenders into the body, shaved door and trunk handles, shaved drip rails, decked the hood and filled in the cowl vent. I also welded in new running boards.
I don't expect it on the road anytime real soon, since I've been building a couple custom BMWs for my oldest son and daughter. They're starting college, so that's also taking up a bit of my car cash!
I've been into rods and muscle cars pretty much all my life, along with Harleys.
I'm hoping to glean a lot of ideas and tips of of all of you, and hopefully I'll be able to contribute something back to the forum.

Welcome. I was thinking the very same thing as Charlie, Washington State sure has a big hot rod population it seems. I thought you guys just grew apples.:D :D :D :D
I have a soft spot for '46-48 Fords. Really pretty cars, and they make great rods. Sounds like you have done yours right. Post some pictures for us.
