It's in the first coat of clear..then I cleared (without flake) over the whole thing.

I haven't played with kandys and pearls yet. In the class I took, we mostly sprayed metallics. Our teacher told us if we could spray a metallic with no tiger striping, we could spray almost anything.

I've heard kandys can be tricky...I hope I can try them sometime soon.

My wife's mustang is next...hopin' to do some pearl flames on it!
