New to the site but have a nice project
Hello to all,
I have a somewhat restored 1964 biscayne.
Was a 6 cyl car so although it looks original, it's not.
Has a 327 right now and after about a year of looking for a 409, i've decided to do the 454 instead. Half the price and all the torque.
Has been converted to the M-22 rock crusher tranny.
People say this is the ugly duckling of the era, but I like the lines.
It's not something everyone has heard of and looks pretty sweet.
I can already see that big block under the hood!
I can't wait to burn my first set of tires off with the big block under the hood.
I tried to attach pics but they wont load. I believe they are too large. Hope to post some soon.

Welcome to the forum. '64's are a very good looking car. I bought a brand new Impala convertible in '64. Loved it and wish I still had it.
Darned lowrider guys have driven these out of sight pricewise.
Enjoy your car.

My first car was a 66' Biscayne 283 with a 3 on the tree. I got it when I was 15. While waiting for my drivers license I saved up and bolted on a set of headers and Craiger SS's first thing. From there out it was endless cycle of busted knuckles and HiPo parts...
