    buying insurance

does anybody know of an insurance company that will insure a street rod that is driven? I have checked with several of the so called collector car insurance folks, but they will only insure your car if you never drive it. Never to the store, never to work. What is the point.

For a starting point, have you tried talking to your insurance agent? For instance, we have State Farm on all of our vehicles. The jeep is insured for $75K declared value and they allow us 5,000 miles per year at some really low rate....it think that it is $280 for six months for liability and theft.

Mine are insured for 5000 miles a year, nobody asked where I was going to drive them!!! Same as Robot, got it right from State Farm. Comes on the same bill as my homeowners insurance and insurance on the drivers....
