Hello all,
I work for a company that manufactures an engine block for GM Performance Parts and Ford Racing. I look forward at reading present and past threads in the forums.

Hey KS, welcome to CHR. I'll take all the aluminum and unobtanium Ford parts you got. Could use a blower manifold for a 460 if you got one laying around. You didn't mention wanting money for any of it, so I'll take all the free stuff and give it a very thourough "product evaluation" for you. !!! Bet you've never had that offer before, huh???

PS...I did just take delivery of two NASCAR Buick V-6 intake manifolds and have access new, old stock Corvette LS-1 blocks/crankshafts, new GM 454 blocks and 8.1 liter forged crankshafts, Ford-Mazda-Cosworth all-aluminum Duratec four cylinder engines, new 2.0 liter Zetec engines, etc.

However, I can't offer them up for sale here as I don't want to violate the rule against commercial posts in the For Sale Forum.

Maybe a visit with the Moderators is in order?

Shipping is now problem, I just live 1 1/2 states north, I'll come get em. Always looking for an excuse for a road trip anyway !!!

Think I'll bring the tractor-trailer too. Last time I went to Detroit my mini-van was so loaded down the front wheels about came off the ground. :LOL:

Free engines and components. It saved on shipping cost too but their loading fees made up for it. :CRY:

Gosh, for the same amount of money I could have stayed home and just gotten the parts delivered to me. :3dSMILE:

Now that's a whole 'nuther story there....

Once, I offered to drive up and load my own free parts and the management agreed. However, I would have to move to Detroit and be hired as they don't accept non-residents and pay for all sorts of memberships plus take their approved training and safety schools to operate loading equipment then deal with the various unions and meet their criteria then work my way up the ladder to have the seniority to give me the privilege to drive the truck into the dock then load my own free engines and parts.

Sure, I can do that. After all, these would then be free parts. Right?

Oh no...
Now that I am a resident of Michigan, I'll owe all sorts of taxes. You know the government(s). Most anything connected with them is going to cost you BIG TIME!!

Even after all of that I STILL agreed to do it!!

Then the wife said; "No!!" and here we are still in Kansas.
There are some things that are SIMPLY insurmountable.

Welcome to CHR!

An ex-city firefighter. However, I consider myself very fortunate as many leave in much worse shape. There are even more dangerous jobs that don't get any recognition...miners and farmers that come to mind. I sure don't know how we could get very far without the sacrifices made by those individuals.
