Frankenstein Monster of Hot Rodding
Hey everyone. I'm just getting the hang of this. I been postin stuff and I never poted here yet. Sorry.
Got a really ugly 90 Custom Cruiser Wagon (This was my fathers Oldsmobile)
455 Olds from a jet boat (not a marine motor and it does rotate in the normal olds ccw direction)
2004r trans
2.93 Posi
towing pkg
super clean 'old man' interior
also 83 Ford T-Bird, 302 power locks/windows
solid body, some surface rust
I had to pull it out of the garage to make room for the wagon
99 Chevy Astro, 4.3
1990 Olds ciera FWD, I think it's a Briggs & Stratton 2 stroke.
I live near Saginaw, Mi
I'm a computer nerd for a living. I like hunting and going to car shows. Do any of y'all go to St. Ignace, MI car show?THX,

welcome aboard, matey.
as to the boat engine in teh olds...what'r gonna use to anchor the boat now?
Have you run it withe the 200R4 trans? That trans will probably shred itself in short order. Even with a stock 455, you should have a 700R4 with mods (see TCI).
2 olds, a chevy and ford, small blocks, v6s, big blocks, 4 cylinder, cars, wagons trucks. At least you are willing to try anything!Chris

Screamer, I got another BBOlds sitting in the corner of the garage. A smart fisherman always has one anchor in the front and one in the back, that way ya don't have much drift..<GRIN>
Streets, do you think that there would be TWO people in this world that would admit to driven an Olds wagon???? <GRIN>THX,

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
