Hello from a couple of Newbies!!

Just wanted to say howdy! My husband and I live in Washington State and are about to embark on a new adventure for both of us a 1969 Thunderbird!

I have owned VW's most of my life and am used to the quirks and indiosyncracies of them, and find this engin the 429 Thunderjet a little intimidating, but I am so looking forward to driving it!

glad to find this site, I lurker around quite a bit before registering and everyone seems very well infomed! I look forward to posting some picture soon and sticking around!

That is why I said I worked on them. Hubby feels the same way you do! BTW we are close to you, just outside Aberdeen!
