    Hupmobile

Hi; I just got a 1930 Hupmobile 4 dr home. I thought this would make a fun MILD hot rod.. & be different from my 59 Skyliner..

I'm new to changing frames. The hupmobile is 112/113 wheelbase.

What would be a good donor, with V6 or V8 small block ???

    Thanks Jerry & Cindy Vanderpool

Hmmmmmm. Should be a very interesting build!!!! How about a big old ex-cop car Crown Victoria Frame??? Some are equipped with the 302 HO engine, oil cooler, posi rear with disc brakes, and lots of other goodies. If your a chebbie guy, would think a Caprice ex-cop car would probably have the same goodies????? Have fun and keep us updated....

Not sure on the wheelbase, but the Crown Vic's and Grand Marquis are a perimter frame, very easy to lengthen or shorten as the wheelbase on the Hup dictates.....
