Cool Not new, but new here

Greeting one and all from the armpit of the south! I was given this site by a bud who told me there was someone here building a C-Cab from out of his head. He must be kin to me 'cause I B doing the same thing and want to see what he is up to.
I'm a graybeard (50) and work for Freightliner trucks. I've twisted wrenchs and lied.....benchraced about stuff for a year or 30.
I can be found most of the time on another site, but thought I would check out this recommended place.
I drive a 78 Malibu wagon as my parts car and daily driver. My fun ride is a 55 Chevy pickup with a flatbed. It is on a 75 Elco frame, tilt nose, maroon and white, 455 Olds powerplant w/ turbo 400 and 10 bolt posi. It is slamed to the weeds and gets ice cream home before it melts.
My project is a dream. I fell in love w/ Tom McDaniels Beer Wagon and I am going to do something of that nature. Its a 39 Dodge frame, 194 in-line six, 72 nove tranny and rear end and a various cornicopia of used parts and semi rusted stuff. A definite rat rod!
I'm not a Yankee. I'm from Boston originally, so that makes me a colonial. Yankee's live south of us.
Now, I'm off to find this guy w/ a C-Cab.
