Hi guys,
I have been searching the net for a real hot rod forum and I believe I finally found one. So here I am! Just thought I would make my first post a little show and tell about my rod. It is not your usual hot rod, but just like all the rest of you, my heart, soul and a large percentage of my paychecks went into it. I am talking about a 67 Sunbeam Alpine. No, not your normal Alpine, but rather a fully custom, fuel injected, 12psi intercooled turbo, 1.8L motor. It is custom from head to toe. The most obvious part is my intake manifold and throttles. I used the throttle bodies from a CBR900RR and built an intake manifold to connect them straight to the head. To distribute the air into the motor is a nice and shiny aluminum pressure manifold. And this is just the beginning. There are also the custom aluminum 7 quart oil pan, the injectors installed directly in the head, and an oil distribution manifold that will make your head spin. If I have peaked your curiosity you can check it out at www.myturboalpine.com Click on any of the pictures and you will see a description of each stage and many more pictures to boot!

I Look forward to reading about all your cool projects. Gotta love the hot rod hobby!

Brian
