Hello People, Great Site
Hi, my name is David. Just found this site today. Can't tell you how long I've been looking for a site like this. I was beginning to think one didn't exist. Looks like a lot of good info and some very knowledgable people on here. I've been hotrodding for about 15 years now, strictly as a hobby. My current money pit is a 73 Mustang Coupe which I like to drag race and occasionally drive to a local car show. It's not much of a street car but the local Police don't hassle us too much on car show nights. Anyway, it's a 73 with a 460, I did 95% of all work myself over several years. I'll definetly have some questions for some of the other forums about it. I'll try to post some pics as soon as I have time to learn how to do it. Looking forward to talking to ya.

Thanks guys, Dave I'll try but most of my buddies drive chevys too, so I'm used to it.
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
