Hey, my name is Chris - I found this forum through yahoo's search, and I will say in the past week or so I've learned alot through the search funtion ;o)

I wouldnt call my car a Hot Rod by any means, but It is custom somewhat.

The car I'm currently building is a 1984 Mazda Rx7, very soon its going to be swapped over to a LS6 Gen III V8 Platform with a 4l60e tranny for the time being.. The plan is for a T-56 next winter after I install my shortened ford 8.8" rear so those power-shifts dont grenade the stock rear. In case you didnt know, 1st gen rx7's weigh in at about 2300 lbs, and with an LSx it should be under 2500, so it should be a fun ride.

Suprisingly the stock Limited Slip or LSD rear end, has been proven to high 10's, but I'd rather be safe than snap an axle at 100 mph.

So anyways, here's my intro - I put up a couple shots of my project, if you can get past that its an import and can deal with the looks, there actually quite good platforms to work with.
