Welcome to the group... T-bucket is a good choice for a first hot rod... You can build on a budget if needs be, they are fairly straight forward with not too many complicated components... There is some good "how to" articles in mags and on the net for these and I have even seen a couple build on TV programs shown on Speedvision...
