1st post and introduction
Hey all,
I just found this place and thought I would register and say 'Hiya!'.
I'm a die hard Chevy guy and also have always loved the body style of the Shelby Cobra so I decided to put it all in a blender and turn it on!
Over the last year and a half, I built a Factory Five Cobra Mark III but put an old School SBC in it in front of a TH700R4.
Body is off right now during winter being painted and the engine is out being reworked. (1969 0010 block .030 over, AFR 195 23 degree heads, stroked to 383, Performer RPM intake, Carter/Edelbrock 750cfm, etc.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll have some questions about lots of stuff, I'm taking the winter to add power steering and brakes which has it's own set of challenges because of a Ford rack and pinion and Mustang pedal assembly mating to the Chevy engine.
There is lots of stuff and pictures on my website if anyone is interested.

Anyway, that's about it! Looking forward to reading a bunch.
