Hi guys and girls
My name is Peter and I live in Melbourne Australia. I have a few projects on the go at the moment I have a 1929 A Model Tourer which is about 2/3 completed It has an inderpendant front end from a mitsibisi van (bitsamissing van) 351 cleavland and a C10 Trans with a shortened 9 inch diff I have built everthing on it my self including the chassis and will be painting and trimming it as well
I also have a 1942 jailbar pickup I am just starting to build as well it will have jaguar front suspension 302 cleavland and C10 and 9" diff
and there is a 28 chev roadster put aside for a rebuild at a later date.
I have just started a rod building business and have a couple of rod building projects under the way as well
The first is a 1926 dodge, It is going to built like a boatailed speedster I am doing the chassis at he moment. The cowl is being moved back 10" and widened 3"and cut down by 4" The doors will be about 6" longer than the original tourer items that came with it and the rear body i will fabricate as we go
The second is a 1928 A Model Tudor I have filled the roof fabricated new rear wheel tubs, it has a 350 chev and T350 and the owner is yet to decide on the diff, either a 9" or a Jag IRS
Well i guess that enough from me for now sorry to make such a long post as an intro
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
