Your right mikev. It seems that all northstar motors are transversly mounted, including the aurora motors. However, one option might be to set it up to be rear wheel drive and steering. That way, all you have to do is swap in a caddilac transaxle in the rear and set up a steering linkage. That would be one wild ride
Honda had a rear wheel steering system that really made it a great handling car, do not know if they kept it. Chevy has the rear wheel steering on the 1500 pickups and makes backing a trailer a breeze. those are the only two that I know of. would love to hear of any other applications that are suscessfull.
