Windshield wiprt motor?
I have a 49 chevy 5 window that I am in the process of re-wiring with an EZ wiring kit. Since everything is being re-worked I want to replace the vacuum motor for the wipers... I am looking for some later model wiper motor that will fit?
If I have to replace the linkage in the cowl with some sort of transmission... I would be willing to do that. I am trying to find a model from a later vintage that will allow the new motor to just bolt in....Help!

If you wanting to find one in a bone yard, look at the Mazda truck. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask..

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
