Also on inspection, my truck is a 66 but I just got regular plates and don't even think I said anything about an antique but I never got it inspected. In NC if you vehicle is 35 years or older then no inspection so I guess it doesn't matter?

Hey, yeah i was thinking about moving to NC. im not too far away from there as it is. as far as the block, no its a 454 block, heres what its got, 454 block .080 over JE SRP 9.0:1 forged blower pistons w/ floating pins, 6.385" 4340 chromoly steel H-Beam rods,
4.250" stroke 4340 chromoly steel crank (eagle crank and rods),
Bullet racing cams solid roller .635 lift int. .700 lift exh 300/320 dur. billet roller cam w/ comp cams roller lifters and roller moroso rockers. ARP main studs, ARP head studs, Pete jackson noisemaker (gear drive) High volume oil pump. Weiand blower intake with pop off valve, BDS custom rebuilt 6-71 supercharger approx. 20% overdriven to reach approx 14 psi max boost. Oh yeah a mallory distributor and two 850 holleys, i think thats about it for the motor, the tranny is a powerglide with everything except a transbrake, i dont think i need a transbrake if i do i will put one in it. The rear is a nine inch ford 3.70:1 gears moser axles the rear was cut and welded by quick performance out in iowa i think it is. I didall this work my self ive been working on this car and motor for about 2 1/2 years now. mainly building the motor for 2 1/2 years that was the really expensive part. later,Joe
