New Arrival
Just found the site - looks like a nice diverse group here - I should fit in with my eclectic rides:
63 Merc Comet S22 ragtop w/302,C4,disc brakes and upgraded suspension, chrome smoothies
60 Ford F100 w/351C, C6, chrome smoothies
03 PT GT Turbo, Stage 1 PCM, 3"exhaust, 2"drop springs and gas shocks, etc.
I learned to drive when I was 12, bought my first car at 15, been addicted ever since. I try to do most of my own work - time allowing. CA native.

Welcome to CHR, Tezz. How about some pictures of the Comet and the rest of the fleet? Don't believe I have ever seen a '63 droptop. Hope you enjoy your time here.

I don't do many 'shows', but these are from the all Merc day in Anaheim a couple years ago...

Here's the warmed over 302 - eventually ($ allowing) it'll get aluminum heads and headers, but for now the duals with Fowmasters sound pretty good. The original 260 SB lasted around 250k but when the 2 speed Merc-o-matic didn't want to shift until 4k when cold, it finally gave up. A C4 3speed went in at the same time.

the interior - mostly stock save the Moon tach, some aftermarket auxilery gauges, and CD player. It has Granada disc's up front and a 9" Lincoln rear end with discs is getting ready for the back. I had 2.79's put in the current 8" but I really miss the torque at the bottom end. 3.10's ought to be about right for all around drivability.
The old girl has been in my family since new - it even came from my Uncle's dealership in Nebraska. He drove it out in 63. I learned how to drive in this car - first dates - all that stuff. I expect to own it until I croak.
