hello
names justin, im 17 years old and looking to learn more about hot rodding and classic fords since ive pretty much been a chevy boy my whole life. right now i would say what i want to do before college is build myself a t-bucket, but i have new ideas fly into my head nearly everyday so i never know what i might want to do next.
i guess really what i should worry about is getting my license and getting a job rather than hotrodding :p

Justin...welcome to CHR! Glad to see that you, probably like many "rodders" on this board, became interested in hot rods before you had a license or a job. I remember my first book report as a 9th grader was entitled "How a carburetor works". That's something that must be in our blood! (LOL)
My first ride was a 1950 Chevy 6 cyl. that I bought with money I saved from paper route money and birthday gifts. I was 15 .
I'm 58 years old now, I just bought the car of my dreams in December. (1930 Ford Model A Full Fendered Roadster)
Good luck with getting your license and a job...and remember, never give up on your dreams!

im lovin your model A Pat. btw ... you live in Rochester, NY? if so, I would hope to see you at the Log Cabin car show this summer!

Justin...yes; I do live in Rochester. I actually live in Greece by the lake.
I'm planning on crusin' to the Log Cabin a few times this year. This will be the first time with my new street rod. Please come and introduce yourself if you see my car.
I joined the Rochester Street Rods (www.rochesterstreetrods.org) in January.
They have a list of "cruise ins" for every night of the week! Actually there are 2 or 3 places for every night of the week.
Hope to see you.
Pat
