Newbie from Kentucky.
Just found this forum and I'm looking forward to learning and sharing my favorite hobby.
It's a shame we have to get old (58) before we can afford the things we always wanted as youngsters, but thats the way it is when your not born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
I'm a Do IT Yourself rodder, I like doing all the work myself. Makes the end result more satisfying.
My latest project is a 1940 Olds Coupe. I found her behind an old shed with a sassafras tree growing through the engine compartment in '93,
I still need to finish the interior but I can drive her. She's powered by a BB Chevy Turbo 400 tranny coupled to a 9 inch ford.
I'm repairing the frontend sheet metal again because a deer decided to jump in front of me one night.
Didn't mean to be so windy, glad to be here.
Good luck everyone.

Welcome to CHR DYIRodder. Nice looking 40 olds and the blue paint really sets it off, or is it black? Kinda hard to tell..Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
